How to activate your Microsoft Office LTSC Standard license
In this tutorial we are going to show you how to activate your Office LTSC Standard edition 2021 license so that you can easily start managing your files on your cloud Windows server.
IMPORTANT: In order to activate your license, you will need to purchase the license as an add-on for your Windows VPS or VDS. Then, you will need to install Office by following our installation tutorial.
Set the host & run the activation command through CMD
Activating your license is actually really simple. All you need to do is to open up CMD and paste in 2 commands. The first one is:
cscript.exe "%ProgramFiles%\Microsoft Office\Office16\ospp.vbs" /sethst:KMS_HOST
IMPORTANT: Make sure to replace 'KMS Host' with the host information provided in your client area!
Once you have set the host, you will need to run the following command in order to start the activation process:
cscript.exe "%ProgramFiles%\Microsoft Office\Office16\ospp.vbs" /act
You should then see a message stating that the product has been successfully activated. That’s it! If you happen to come across any issues, make sure to contact our support team so they can assist you further.
IMPORTANT: Don’t forget to state how many users are going to be using the license in our billing system!
